The most common hosts are martial arts school owners, though hosts come from all walks of life. Sometimes a host organizes a workshop for his family, friends, or co-workers. Other times the workshop is hosted by a private club, a business, or by an event promoter. The host determines if it will be a private workshop (strictly by invitation) or public (open to the community). Hosts provide the venue (anywhere safe and legal) and the participants (you should have a handful to “anchor” the event and together we work on resourcing more). If you have no experience hosting we will help you every step of the way.
