

Why do MMA?
It is a phrase we hear where ever we go. It’s a phrase that says so much, and so little all at the same time. It’s a phrase that bears no real comparison to what Mixed Martial Arts actually is.
What does MMA actually mean? It’s short for Mixed Martial Arts. It’s the culmination of knowledge in a person that manifests itself in how they fight, how they train, even so far as how they live. Being a true Mixed Martial Artist is a way of life, something that symbolizes you and what you live for.

What is MMA?
MMA or Mixed Martial Arts is a hybrid combat sport that incorporates techniques and strategies from a variety of Combat systems which has grown into the fastest growing sport in the 21st century. At CombatCoaching.com we offer a Kids MMA and Adult MMA program. Our classes are professionally coached ensuring our students experience a safe intellectual environment to progress with their study of Mixed Martial Arts.
Our students are exposed to the 3 main ranges of MMA, ie. Stand Up, Clinch and Ground. Each range draws from a variety of Combat Arts with Muay Thai Boxing, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu forming the main foundation of our MMA classes. Strategies, Tactics and Combat Athletic conditioning forms part of the sessions to ensure that our students develop Fight IQ to be able to better understand the Science of an MMA Fight.
