
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu also known as BJJ is a Grappling/Wrestling based Martial Art focused on leverage, technique and strategy, rather than size or strength. For kids to study and train in BJJ is ideal for Self Defence as it teaches the child how to control and ultimately submit a bigger stronger more aggressive opponent. As a contact sport, Jiu-Jitsu provides a very challenging yet safe and caring environment for a child to mature towards a real-life champion.
Our Kids classes are designed to guide young learners through their Martial arts journey, building skills that extend beyond the mat. The outcome of continued discipline, respect and doing your best demanded by our coaches often carries over to the child’s behaviour at home and school.
